I would like to provide you with a little information about myself, my goals, and what my personal philosophy about dog training is.

I have a degree in Animal Science from Middle Tennessee State University and I am a graduate of the Triple Crown Dog Academy in Hutto, TX. I have worked in the animal industry all my life. Starting Kindred Spirits Dog Training has allowed me to share my skills with other trainers and dog enthusiasts while bringing together pets and their families. I also continue to expand my education through other trainers, clients and their dogs.

At Kindred Spirits Dog Training we continue to advance our expertise in animal training through personal research, professional training seminars, advanced clinics, networking, and ongoing contact with other professionals in the field.

Our philosophy is about using a balance when training and working with our clients to ensure they are completely comfortable with our training practices. Alternative training methods can be used based on the particular needs and comfort levels of individual dogs and owners.

I am a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals and work to help support the local humane shelter.

I have a great compassion for all animals including the homeless and abandoned! My life experience in Tennessee has been filled with stray animals. I have worked in veterinary clinics and walked through shelters for years, but the number of homeless animals is still astounding to me. This needs to change.
In a country where animals are pets, family members, and co-workers, it is unreal to me that the problem of animal disownment and abandonment exists. I believe and I know through training and education that the huge numbers can be reduced.
I encourage you to join with me in making the solution of this animal problem "Your Personal Goal", too!
